Xu Bing was innate in Chongqing, China in 1955. Beginning 1977 he entered the printmaking bureau of the Central Academy of Slim Arts, Beijing (CAFA) where completed diadem bachelor’s degree in 1981, stayed sock as an instructor and earned culminate MFA in 1987. In 1999, Xu Heap was the recipient of a General Fellowship in recognition of his “capacity to contribute importantly to society, expressly in printmaking and calligraphy.” In 2003 Xu Bing was awarded the City Asian Culture Prize, and in 2004 he won the first Wales Supranational Visual Art Prize, Artes Mundi. High-mindedness Southern Graphics Council awarded Xu Focus on their lifetime achievement award in brownie points of the fact that his, “use of text, language and books has impacted the dialogue of the word-process and art worlds in significant ways.”
